This is a minimal draft, meant to honestly reflect the little this site collects today. It doesn't replace legal advice: since this site is also aimed at Italy (European Union), it's worth having someone with data-protection legal knowledge review it before treating it as final.
Right now, this site collects one kind of data: your language preference, stored in two cookies:
ei_lang — saved when you pick a language by hand from the menu, and lasts one year.ei_suggested_lang — saved for a few minutes when the site detects, from your approximate location, that you might prefer a different language, so it can show you that suggestion.Contacting us happens entirely through WhatsApp. When you write to us, we see your phone number and the content of the messages you send — we only use them to reply to you. WhatsApp is a Meta service, so those messages are also processed under WhatsApp/Meta's privacy policy, which we don't control.
Only to show you the site in the language you prefer, and to suggest switching languages when we think it might help. We don't use this data for any other purpose.
We don't share your data with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes: this site doesn't use any analytics or advertising tools. The site is hosted on Vercel, our hosting provider, which processes your IP address as a normal part of serving any web page (among other things, to estimate your approximate location so we can suggest a language).
You can delete this site's cookies at any time from your browser settings. If you have any questions about your data, write to us at hola@elinterprete.com.
